The Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service Animal Centre is located in Trent Country Park, Enfield. It is next door to the old Visitors' Centre which is now our entrance and tea shop. The park can be accessed via Cockfosters Road for parking, or via Bramley Road, Snakes Lane (Oakwood) and The Ridgeway on foot. Public Transport: The nearest underground stations are Oakwood and Cockfosters, on the Piccadilly Line. Buses 121, 307 and others stop nearby. Until the first week in April we are closed on Thursdays during school term times, but open Thursdays during school holidays and Bank Holiday weeks. Summer hours are from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (last admission 4.30 pm). Winter hours from end October 10.00 am until half an hour before dusk. We are open on Bank Holidays including Boxing Day, but we are closed Christmas Day. Admission Fees: From 1st July 2011 Adults £3.00, children (3-14 years) £2.00. Under 3s free. Admission price includes use of children's playground. All proceeds go towards running the Centre. Entrance is through the tea shop. Come in and have a cuppa or soft drink. We have cakes and biscuits too, and lots of photos and info about the Animal Centre. There is a pleasant garden for you to enjoy in fine weather.
